Dear Growth Partners,
It is that time of the year again! A time to reflect, to connect, to share, to plan, and also a time to feel. Looking back at 2019 I can say I’ve had my successes, my challenges, my choices, my commitments and most of all emotions ; I am grateful for it all.

What made you skip a heartbeat this year? What made you proud?
Let’s cultivate gratitude, curiosity, generosity, resilience, ambition... Yearly, monthly, weekly, daily, hourly, and more.
How? Simple things: tell the people you love you love them, without expecting an answer. Tell the people you work with you appreciate their work. You’ll see, giving is receiving.Ask the people you love and work with how you can make their day a better one, consistently and authentically! Wake up and tell yourself why you’re grateful. And then, do more of it.

'Never, Ever Forget That You Are a Servant'
“My grandfather ran a general store, and if a customer needed something that wasn’t in stock, he did whatever it took to get the item – even running across the street to a competitor – rather than ask the customer to take her business elsewhere. He never told me, “Take care of others, and they’ll take care of you” – he didn’t have to. I saw it happens.
When I entered the aviation business, I never thought in terms of “passengers” or “tickets sold” but of “people” and “customers.” It was distressing to hear airline colleagues complain about the customers – even going so far as to say how much easier it would be for them if there were fewer passengers.
When JetBlue started flying in February 2000, my goal was to bring humanity back to air travel. We hire nice people and train them in the skills they require to help run the airline. I don’t think you can train someone to be nice. We are all servants in the best sense of the word, which brings amazing personal and professional rewards.”
